It’s the title of the award-winning coffee shop in the East, and what Owner Stefan Iannace serves his coffee with. And now it’s going on the road, coming to events near you starting this weekend.
Cheeky Grin Coffee is a Firle-based coffee shop that has become renowned for slinging mouth-watering beans and sweet treats, served up with relaxed vibes and a cheeky grin.
But now, with the purchase of a coffee van, you don’t have to be in the East to get your caffeine-fix. Now, Cheeky Grin will return to weddings, markets and events all over the state.
The Cheeky Grin journey began in 2020 when Stefan Iannace started a coffee catering business, supplying caffeine for events including weddings and sporting games. But then, Covid-19 hit Australia, and all events were cancelled, leaving Iannace with a challenge.
Iannace opened a shop out of his family’s back shed, where he could bring a little life back to the quiet and gloomy locked down streets. The first few months of the shed were so successful that, soon, Stefan made a promise on national TV that he would one day soon run a coffee shop.
The name would be ‘Cheeky Grin Coffee’ and it would be dedicated to giving back to the community. And sure enough, Iannace is now heralded as the ‘caffeine dealer’ of the East.
So, now, with the purchase of this van, Iannace has returned to his roots in a full circle moment.
Cheeky Grin Coffee prides themselves on creating a family-like community and a place where you can come to brighten up your day. Last year, it was named ‘Best Coffee’ in the East Side Business Awards after placing runner-up in the 2021 awards.
It offers a fun, relaxed and calm coffee stop for those on the run, but by the weekend the shop is pumping with an endless amount of sweet treats, fresh bread and pastries, flowers, and of course lots of laughs and cheeky grins!
