Get ready for a ‘Perfect’ night at Ed Sheeran as free transport is announced for concert-goers

Concertgoers can have the ‘perfect’ night and catch-free public transport to see Ed Sheeran live at the Adelaide Oval this Tuesday night.

Darling, just dive right in and follow our lead as concertgoers can catch free public transport to see Ed Sheeran at Adelaide Oval this Tuesday night.

Sheeran fans will have the ‘perfect’ night with free travel applying to regular Adelaide Metro and Adelaide Oval bus, train and tram services to and from the city from 3pm until last service on Tuesday, 7 March.

Additional train and tram services will also run before and after the concert to ensure a safe, easy and convenient ride for more than 60,000 concert-goers.

“As Ed Sheeran might say: ‘The car isn’t the best way to get to Adelaide Oval – so the bus is where I go,” said Tom Koutsantonis MP, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get safely to the concert and home again afterwards – let Adelaide Metro sort out your ride so you can sit back and enjoy Ed’s much anticipated The Mathematics Tour”.

“Bad habits can lead to late nights stuck in traffic, but additional buses, trains and trams will be running to cater for the more than 60,000 people expected to flock to Adelaide Oval. Simply show your match ticket to the driver or customer service staff and enjoy the free ride”.

To access free travel, simply present your concert ticket to the driver or customer service staff when using public transport.
