Beer lovers rejoice, the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival is back bigger and better in 2016. With more beer, more BBQ and more fest, this will be an event not to be missed.
After its inaugural introduction on the Adelaide Festival scene last year, it will hit again this July.
With some big names in beer on the bill including Barossa Valley Brewing, Big Shed Brewing, Little Creatures Brewing, Mismatch Brewing Co., Prancing Pony Brewery, Pirate Life Brewing and so many more, the amber goodness will be flowing across the three day event.
Not to be forgotten, there will also be some ciders showcasing their fruity wares at the Festival including LOBO Cider, Sidewood, Hills Cider and more.
Of course you will have the chance to taste the brews, some of which you will only be able to taste at this event and some that haven’t even been shown in SA before, but you can also talk beer to the brewers.
And where there is beer there must be food. And food there will be! With Africola’s Duncan Welgemoed announced as the 2016 BBQ Ambassador, he will be curating the menus of all BBQ’ers as well as presenting his very own South African BBQ.
Other locals who will be serving up a feast to delight hungry drinkers will include Comida, Gilbert Street Hotel, Golden Boy and Sneaky Pickle, with more to be announced.
If the food and drink lineup wasn’t impressive enough, there will also be an eclectic list of music acts to keep your ears as happy as your mouth and stomach.
From locals to a bevy of national acts, the new main stage will be rocking Friday and Saturday nights, while DJs keep the tunes rolling in the Beer Hall all weekend.
