Cheeseburger Spring Rolls Are Apparently A Thing And We Are Both Confused And Delighted

Woolworths heralds the cheeseburger spring rolls as a unique twist on an old party favourite. Essentially, it’s a cheeseburger wrapped in pastry.

Friday afternoons call for many lovely things. Things such as red wine, early knock offs, and according to Woolworths, cheeseburger spring rolls (or Cheeseburger Flavoured Spring Rolls, to give them their official title).

We were mildly confused but also immensely intrigued at this arguably outrageous creation.

Our first question: do the cheeseburger spring rolls include PICKLES?

Thankfully, the answer is yes.

Woolworths heralds the cheeseburger spring rolls as a unique twist on an old party favourite. Essentially, it’s a cheeseburger wrapped in pastry. The crispy pastry rolls are filled with beef mince, tasty cheese, pickles, ketchup and a tangy mustard sauce, and sold in a pack of 6 for just $5.

Also added to the new frozen party food range are the Bolognese Arancini Balls. Think crunchy crumbed arancini balls, filled with a beef Bolognese and parmesan cheese, wrapped in a layer of arborio rice. Also $5.

For the vegos, Woolies is offering Pumpkin and Harissa Bites filled with chickpeas, sweet pumpkin and harissa spice, sold in a pack of 8 for, you guessed it, $5.

The whole range is available now at your local Woolworths.
