CheeseFest returns to Adelaide in 2021 with star studded chef lineup

The epic festival of all things cheese will be making its return this year with a stellar lineup of chefs throughout.

Cheese fans rejoice! The epic celebration of cheese is making a return to Adelaide this year.

CheeseFest, Australia’s biggest cheese festival, is back for 2021, taking place in its original location at Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka in Adelaide City.

The two-day festival, which will be on Saturday 23 October and Sunday 24 October 2021 will showcase the finest local cheeses, food producers, chefs, and beverages from Australia, with a focus on South Australian produce.

“We are excited to host another rich program, where cheese lovers can also enjoy live music from a fabulous selection of local musicians, visual art, and the famous cooking demo stage,” Festival Director Kris Lloyd AM said.

“Headlined by former MasterChef Judges Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan, our demo stage always brings a crowd – it is free to attend, full of laughs, beautiful food, and nothing short of a stellar line up of some of South Australia’s best known food personalities including Simon Bryant, Laura Sharrad, Jake Kellie, Kane Pollard and Karena Armstrong to name a few.”

We have a fabulous selection of local producers involved this year including, Udder Delights, Spring Gully Foods, La Casa Del Formaggio, Riverside Dairy, Never Never Gin, Salopian Inn, Kimbolton Wines, Coriole Vineyards and San Jose Smallgoods to name a few, with more to be revealed at the program launch. There will also be some special masterclasses on offer.

“Our aim for CheeseFest 2021 is to deliver a CheeseFest that we are all accustomed to while ensuring that all COVID-safe requirements are met. Our wonderful food producers, restaurants and bars have been fighting an uphill battle since the pandemic hit, so we are excited to present a delicious, vibrant and COVID-safe festival for our producers, cheese lovers and wider community.”
