Known for her use of a melting pot of global flavours, celebrated chef Christine Mansfield is touring the country to host a series of dinners recreating the gastronomic odyssey of her book Tasting India.

She will take over some of the country’s top restaurants for an evening of colour, flavour and spice, creating dishes from heirloom recipes she’s collected during her travels to India.

You can catch her in Adelaide on Thursday November 8 at The Pot by Emma McCaskill. Dinner is $150 per person, which includes dinner, an arrival cocktail and a signed copy of Tasting India.

The new book features 30 new recipes, three new chapters on the Punjab, Gujarat and Hyderabad, plus her insider tips on where to sleep and eat throughout India.

“This is my story of India, a story gathered across many visits, connecting with people in various walks of life. The recipes I’ve collected along the way reflect the stories of countless mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sons of daughters, brothers, sisters and aunts, as told to me during my travels,” says Christine.
