Cherished Clarence Park cafe reopens with bold new offering and atmosphere

A go-to cafe in Clarence Park has reopened after seven months, offering a new and improved venue.

Sublime Cafe, a beloved local spot for brunch and coffee, has made a triumphant return after a setback caused by a fallen tree that forced its closure for the past seven months.

The relaunch brings forth an entirely new menu, featuring delights like Hot Honey Pumpkin and Benny Rosti, alongside signature dishes such as popcorn haloumi, Breakfast Nasi Goreng, as well as their renowned bottomless brunches, all ready to delight customers once more.

“We were devastated when we had to close due to the property damage, but after a little while, we saw the challenge as an opportunity to take Sublime to the next level, we love serving our community and with Sublime being a long term adventure for us, we thought why not take this time to make some of the changes we’d been imaging for a while,” Co-owner Bec Edwards said.

Since its inception in 2014, Sublime Café has been a cherished dining spot renowned for its warm atmosphere, exceptional brunch fare, and attentive service.

Located in a convenient pocket in the tree-lined streets of Clarence Park, Sublime boasts a varied menu crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Beyond its inviting café setting, Sublime extends its expertise to professional catering, offering tailored services for weddings, corporate gatherings, and memorable events.

The revamped Sublime retains customer favourites while boasting a fresh, redesigned interior that exudes even more charm and ambiance. Notably, the venue now features a bespoke function space named Sublime Social, enriching its offerings and adding a dynamic option to South Australia’s events landscape.

“After the heartbreak of seeing our venue damaged, it’s thrilling to have shifted our journey to one about business development and growth,” Amanda Edward said.

“Our function space, Sublime Social, is set to be an exciting new offering to our community with limitless capabilities for any type of event from intimate soirées to high-volume corporate functions”.
