Get ready to turn up the heat for a fiery weekend of fun, food, and flavour as Chilli Fest Willunga returns to Willunga Recreation Park 22nd and 23rd of February! Whether you’re a die-hard chilli fanatic or just love a good foodie festival, this is sure to be the hottest event on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
With over 20 chilli stalls, including local legends White’s Valley Jalapenos, Grunds Gourmet, and Salt Gang plus even some from interstate Hot Chilli Mama and Edible Alchemy, there will be no shortage of ways to spice up your cooking. Hot sauces, pickles, fresh chillies, and more—if it’s got heat, you’ll find it there.
Catch demos from Willunga’s own Norma from White’s Valley Jalapenos and Sarmi from Origin of Taste to learn how to make the most of your chillies and parings, get personal expert advice from Chilli Affliction and local gardening gurus to help your plants thrive in 2025.

New to the festival this year is the SA Chilli Championship Heat 1! Hosted by Chilli Philli from Burnin Bites Down Under, ten brave contestants will battle it out in a 15-round challenge on Saturday at 2pm. Starting with jalapenos and pushing their limits up to the super spicy Carolina Reapers. Who will be crowned the SA Chilli Champion?
Think you can handle the heat? Enter the competition! There will be a $100 cash prize for the winner, and be in for a chance to represent SA on a national level.
Beyond the heat there is something for everyone—explore artisan market stalls with chilli-inspired gifts, delicious food options like tacos, pizza, and even chilli-infused ice cream and chocolates. Plus, Shifty Lizard, South Coast Brewing, and DogRidge Wines will be serving up the perfect drinks to balance the spice.

Grab a local beer, wine or a glass of their famous Sangria and a bite to eat in the Chill Garden, all while enjoying the live tunes from talented local musicians.
Chilli Fest Willunga is a major fundraiser for Willunga Recreation Park, with all proceeds going directly to maintaining this beloved community space.
