The cosy Victoria-era eatery on Halifax Street has been serving Adelaide since 1840, and this year they’ve created a decadent Christmas lunch menu to soothe all your hunger pains.
For $89 per person, and $33 for kids under 14, this is what the Rob Roy will be serving up:
Entree Duo
King prawn, iceberg, avocado and brandied Marie Rose sauce,
Ham hock terrine, chicken parfait, cherry jam, cornichons, crostini
Main Course (choice)
Roast turkey with stuffing crumbs, green beans, potato bake and cranberry jus,
Lamb cutlet, roulade of braised shoulder of lamb, green beans, potato bake, demi glaze,
Zucchini fritters, charred corn kernels, honey glazed heirloom carrots and dehydrated beetroot
Dessert Duo
Traditional Christmas pudding and brandy sauce,
Deconstructed pavlova, summer fruit and toasted marshmallow
