Seniors on Screen is an award-winning, over-50s club for the digital age that incorporates weekly screenings. From the A-list international film circuit, engaging talks, special events, to hands-on workshops, there is something for everyone.
The screening program is akin to a year-round film festival that’s delivered in bite-sized pieces. Presented as two seasons – March-July & August-Dec – the program consists of around 40 cutting-edge films. Tickets are $7 each and include complementary tea and coffee.
The diverse program of workshops specially designed for seniors consists of up to a dozen workshops annually. Past workshops have included first time and advanced filmmaking workshops, documentary making, DSLR camera operation, a choir, jewellery making and many more. Plus, they’re a great opportunity to make new friends.
