Citrus Unveils New Winter Menu

CitrusWith Winter well and truly upon us, the young inspired kitchen team at Citrus have unveiled their Winter Menu for 2010.

The winter menu is the end result of a lengthy creative process involving Citrus’s head & sous chef’s, service staff and many many tasting sessions.

The aim was to create a menu that delivered on both flavour and familiar. They wanted their dishes to be homely with that little something extra… a sensation, a memory, a feeling.

The entrée’s have been derived from favourite dishes that current and previous chef’s have featured on their menu’s in the past, bringing local produce to the forefront.

Keeping Citrus’s Italian influence through the owner’s passion, the main meals on the winter menu are ‘comfort food’ orientated with most being of a braised, slow poached and confit nature.

Dessert is their playground, where the chefs have taken everyone’s favourites and spun them into their own creations.

Not only is Citrus as passionate about serving only the finest fresh produce from the most dedicated and passionate suppliers locally and nationally, but they are also proud to have one of the best boutique beverage selections in Adelaide.

The award winning wine list speaks for itself, featuring some of the world’s finest wines. For those who enjoy a cold beverage, the beer list is not far behind, including some of the best local and imported boutique beers sure to refresh your palate.

The structure of their wine list is one that encourages customers to think differently about the way they select wine. Wines are grouped into price catergories, with generous selections of variety in each section.

Like the Citrus food menu, the wine list evolves with each season, showcasing the emergence of boutique wine producers.
