Victoria Square will be the place to be from 3:30pm onwards today with a festival of music, food and an array of Adelaide’s best distillers.
Round up the troops and take that early minute from work and celebrate another big year with your friends and colleagues for some Merry hours in the Square!
In what’s been a cooler than usual summer, it’s a great chance to soak up some sunshine, enjoy being outdoors and getting some Vitamin D whilst sampling some of the delicious food and beverages on offer.
Sit back and enjoy some of Adelaide’s finest musicians including the fine tunes of soloist Brad Lee, four piece band ‘The Cast’ and get your groove on with some tunes from their resident DJ.
The ‘Christmas Wrap Party’ is nestled in front of the Victoria Square Christmas tree which soares some 25 metres into the sky, the City of Adelaide’s Christmas tree is the largest in the southern hemisphere!
It is covered in more than 13,000 individually programmed twinkling lights.
The Giant Christmas Tree lights up nightly until 7 January 2023, switching on at approximately 8.30pm and running until 2.30am.
It is part of Adelaide’s family-friendly Christmas Festival which features a series of events over the festive season to keep people of all ages entertained.
