The fiestas and siestas renowned in the bullfighting, flamenco dancing country that is Spain will reach our South Australian backyard just in time for the 35th Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend.
Jeanneret Wines are having a Spanish Take Over weekend starting May 18, with both Saturday and Sunday having different Spanish themes.
All of the good stuff will be there. Think parties, tapas, paella, Latin dancing, workshops, Sunday breakfast, craft brews, wine and sangria. Essentially, everything that makes for a good time.
There will be a Spanish Fiesta on the Saturday, starting at 10am. Jeanneret Wines and Clare Valley Brewing will be providing scrumptious paella, mouthwatering tapas and your choice of sangrias along with your favourite wines and fresh brews on tap. Basically, your taste buds are in for a real treat.
Jeanneret Wines know that no fiesta is complete without live music. They have enlisted DJ SEÑORITA and their La Bomba Salsa Dancers who will perform throughout the day and even teach you a move or two.
After any big Spanish Fiesta comes a Spanish Siesta, also known as the day of rest.
On the Sunday you will be able to start your day with Jeanneret Wines and Clare Valley Brewing by relishing in a Spanish breakfast from 9am.
Gourmet food will follow all day with delicious paella, tapas and sangria along with your favourite wines and fresh brews on tap.
You can relax out on the deck in true Spanish style with chilled Spanish vibes by La Bomba’s duo guitarist.
To end the perfect Spanish weekend, there will also be a Mad Monday Wine Sale from 10am.
Jeanneret Wines have a limited release of wines including clearance ends and cleanskins available, ensuring you will be able to walk away from the weekend with many happy memories (and bargains).
