Kylie Minogue has announced the details of her upcoming ‘Tension Tour’ scheduled for 2025, promising to be her most expansive tour since 2011. The announcement coincides with the release of her new 13-track album, ‘Tension II’, which is set to launch on October 18, distributed by Mushroom Music.
The tour will kick off in Perth, Australia at the RAC Arena on February 15. Kylie will then perform across various locations across Australasia, including Adelaide, before moving to the UK in May. Additional dates and countries are expected to be announced soon.
The ‘Tension Tour’ will include performances at major venues including the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.
Kylie shared her excitement about the tour, stating, “I am beyond excited to announce the TENSION TOUR 2025. I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more! It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”
Presale tickets will be available to Telstra Plus members starting from September 24, with Kylie and Frontier Member presale following on September 26. General public ticket sales will begin on October 2.
‘Tension II’, the follow-up to her previous album, delves further into electronic music and dance anthems, featuring collaborations with artists such as The Blessed Madonna, Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, and Sia. The lead single ‘Lights Camera Action’ from the upcoming album was released earlier on September 27.
The singer’s busy year included receiving the Global Icon Award at the BRITs, winning a Grammy for Best Pop Dance Recording for her hit ‘Padam Padam’, and performing a headline show at London’s BST Hyde Park, which received high praise from critics.
