Close contacts and active cases drop as SA records zero new cases

There are currently nine active cases and 272 contacts in quarantine.

There have been zero new cases of COVID-19 found in SA despite another huge day of testing.

There are currently nine active cases and 272 contacts in quarantine.

There were 4,541 tests carried out yesterday making a total of 743,840 since March.

There have been a total of 562 cases to date with 33 in relation to the Parafield cluster.

All South Australians who have symptoms of COVID-19 should get tested on the day symptoms appear. Symptoms include:

  • Fever or chills (in the absence of an alternative illness that explains these symptoms)
  • An acute respiratory infection e.g. cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness of breath
  • Loss of smell or alteration in the sense of taste
