Coastal Sounds is gearing up for a huge return to our local beaches in 2026 with an even bigger celebration of music, art and seaside fun along Adelaide’s stunning coastline this June.

The free, family- friendly event will transform 12 beachfront locations into a coastal trail on Sunday, June 7th, inviting South Australians to get out and enjoy live performances, creative workshops, and entertainment. Running from 10am to late, Coastal Sounds 2026 will stretch from West Beach to Semaphore, with stops at Henley Beach and Grange.

Designed to be a unique and accessible coastal experience, the event encourages visitors to explore Adelaide’s shoreline while enjoying an eclectic mix of live music, dance and interactive art. Attendees can take a stroll between stages or settle in at a favourite beachside spot, and even four-legged friends are welcome to join in the fun.

This year’s lineup is filled with talent, including an impressive array of local and international performers. Audiences can look forward to sets from Anya Anastasia, Baby Mo, Carla Mattiazzo, Effie Isobel, Max Savage, Nahlla, Tom West and The Dainty Morsels, alongside dynamic acts like Huge Beat, Opulence and The Birds Are Spies. International artists Volya Ukrainian Cossack Dancers, Alain Valodze, and Zhao Liang will also be on deck, each delivering a captivating performance.

Coastal Sounds has also become known for its free activities designed to entertain the whole family. Younger attendees can enjoy a baby dinosaur petting zoo, glitter tattoos, interactive experiences like the Climbing Tree Nature Play Space and Upsound’s Make and Play instrument workshops. The ever-popular Monski Mouse DJ Set and the whimsical Bubble Woman are also set to delight crowds throughout the day.

With its laid-back atmosphere and unbeatable ocean setting, the event offers the perfect excuse to embrace the June long weekend.

The full event timetable will be announced in May, giving festivalgoers plenty of time to plan their coastal adventure. In the meantime, attendees are encouraged to follow the official Facebook event for updates.

This event is proudly presented by The City of Charles Sturt in partnership with The City of Port Adelaide Enfield, and supported by the Australian Government’s Revive Live program.
