The History of the Cocktail
Given that World Cocktail Week has just come and gone we thought it was a good time to focus on the history of the “cocktail” and the characters who have played their part. So for the June session of Cocktails 101 we will be discussing the origins and evolution of the cocktail. You will get to make some drinks that date back to the early days of the 1800’s and follow the progress of drink making through the prohibition, the war years, the curly straws of the seventies until today.
It should be a fun night so come along and bring a friend.
The session is $50 and includes 3 cocktails during the evening, a drink on arrival and a late supper.
