It’s official. The circus spectacle inspired by the 2017 smash hit The Greatest Showman is coming to Australia for a 2026 tour. COME ALIVE! will roll up to Adelaide from 29 October 2026 for a Morphettville Racecourse extravaganza.
The show reinvents the motion picture with death-defying aerials, bold choreography, and a full-scale circus spectacle that bursts off the stage. All of this is set to the iconic music of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. If you’re familiar, think “Rewrite the Stars”, “This Is Me”, “A Million Dreams”, and more. If you’re not familiar, think big, bold, and energetic. It is shaping up to be a large-scale production you will not soon forget.

COME ALIVE! is led by Drama Desk award-winning Creative Director Simon Hammerstein. He is the co-founder of The Box, the creative force behind Usher’s sold-out My Way Las Vegas residency, and the producer of Queen of the Night.
Simon Hammerstein, Creative Director, said, “With COME ALIVE! we aim to transport our audiences into a circus dream, and create a show for anyone who loves great music, thrilling action and spectacular entertainment. The uniqueness of our show allows us to blend multiple entertainment forms into one singular event, bursting with joy and reimagining this extraordinary music to tell a new, modern story of what it takes to follow your dreams. We are so excited to bring this incredible show to new audiences across Australia – come one, come all and Come Alive!”

When it sweeps across the country, COME ALIVE! will arrive fresh from its rave-reviewed London debut. The show extended its London run by popular demand earlier this year before the announcement of its Australian tour.
David Hutchinson, CEO of The Path Entertainment Group, said, “As a company, we’re thrilled to build on the success of the London premiere of COME ALIVE!, partnering with TSG and Disney to bring this immersive spectacular to Australia. Australia will be the first international market to experience the original London production, marking an exciting next step in Path’s global expansion.
Australian audiences have an incredible appetite for bold, high-quality live entertainment, and this show delivers on every front: spectacle, heart, and pure joy. We’re proud to introduce a world-class reimagining of a story that celebrates individuality and belonging. We can’t wait for Australia to step into the ring with us.”
The original story, by Jenny Bicks, follows the rise to fame of P. T. Barnum, a celebrated US showman, businessman, and Connecticut State Representative born in 1810. The star-studded film featured Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya.
