It’s not every day that you get to sample some of South Australia’s rarest wines but this event allows you to do just that.
RESERVED, wine at the South Australian Museum will see fifteen of the state’s best wineries come together in an intimate setting to let guests sample reserved, museum release and cellar-door-only wines.
Peruse pop-up stalls from cellar doors such as Bec Hardy Wines, Zonte’s Footstep and Pikes Wines while a local DJ spins your favourite tunes. Surrounded by the amazing exhibits in the Mammals and Pacific Cultures galleries, you’ll also be able to take a peek at the largest display of Pacific artefacts in Australia with over 3000 items from Papua New Guinea, the Solomon and Santa Cruz Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Fiji and New Zealand.
Your $25 ticket to the evening includes a glass of Great Wine Capital on arrival (plus you get to keep the glass!) as well as two tasting tokens to be redeemed at the wineries stand of your choice. Once you’ve redeemed those, you’ll be able to purchase wine by the glass, half-glass or bottle. Tasty treats will also be provided to help keep you full while you wander.
The wineries in attendance include:
