After nearly two years and 15 events around the country, Grapes of Mirth has announced its first ever event in the Adelaide Hills.
“Grapes of Mirth is visiting its cousin! After three wonderful years in my second home of McLaren Vale, we’re going to share the love and “pop up the road a bit” to the Adelaide Hills for 2020,” explains host Merrick Watts.
“Howard Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills will host our beloved South Australian summer event, and we promise it will be the ‘same, same but different’.”
Jason Nikolas, General Manager at Grapes of Mirth, was there from the start, bringing the event to McLaren Vale back in 2017.
“We love the Vale, and we’ll most certainly be back, but right now we’re just very excited about putting on a great event in the Hills. I’ve known Tom Northcott from Howard Vineyard for several years now – he’s a super talented young winemaker and an all-round top bloke, so we’re really looking forward to working with him and his team.”
The Adelaide Hills event on Sunday, March 1 line up features:

- Heath Franklin’s Chopper (The Ronnie Johns Half Hour).
GoM has championed a winning formula after recognising the value of an afternoon featuring Australia’s best comedians in some of Australia’s best wine regions – an experience that has subsequently seen a steadily
growing community of GoM devotees.
As always, Grapes of Mirth will be bringing their incredible music master DJ Pedro Moshman on the road with them – he’ll keep the festival vibe going between sets and after the comedy show.
