The long-anticipated new venture from André Ursini is finally here.
Located in Mylor in the Adelaide Hils, Villetta Porcini is a unique culinary experience where everything is special, intentional and warm.
Villetta Porcini, or “tiny porcini cottage” in Italian, is surrounded by blue gums and conifers, and sits at the end of a winding gravel path.
Small groups of guests are invited to dine encircled by nature, with an emphasis on the connection between land and table.
The food on offer moves with the seasons, philosophising “excellent produce surrounded by nature and completely in the moment.”
Ursini has curated a meaningful 20 acres of land, having planted seeds best suited to the microclimate.
“We cook seasonally because we grow seasonally, it’s as simple as that,” says Ursini.
This “entirely intimate experience” has just opened, and will be available on both Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 5pm. Seating is exclusively outdoors and is thereby weather dependent.
To secure a spot at Villetta Porcini, guests must select and purchase a ‘package ticket’. Guests will then be placed on a waitlist to garner an invitation to dine at Villetta Porcini.
Due to the small, intimate, and weather dependent nature of Villetta Porcini, opening dates and bookings can only be confirmed 7-14 days in advance. This guarantees the best experience possible for diners.
Once an invitation has been accepted, guests can expect an official confirmation via email and post.
The Spring-Summer 2019 waitlist is now full, with Villetta Porcini confirming they were “blown away” by the responses.
To those beyond the initial waitlist, be assured, the team is making its way through the requests. These potential guests will be the first to know about the Summer—Autumn 2020 tickets release.

TASTING MENU $160 PER PERSON
A menu comprised of intentional and seasonal dishes, formed from the gardens and presented beside the stories of preparation.
EXPERIENCE MENU $200 PER PERSON
The Experience Menu is Villetta Porcini’s premium package which includes additional plates and stories. Guests will watch the plates come together whilst chatting to the host and chefs.

SOMMELIERS PACKAGE $70 PER PERSON
Includes wines from a range of local, national and international wines curated by Villetta Porcini’s Sommelier.

Includes wines of the Premium Reserve bottles collected from local, national and international wine regions.
NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS PACKAGE $50 PER PERSON
Includes a fresh beverage with each course.

Includes tastings from the Sommeliers Package wines.
Ursini already runs popular local venues, Andre’s Cucina & Polenta Bar, and Orso. The former opened in 2009, and was Ursini’s first foray into the Adelaide restaurant scene. Since its opening, punters have flocked to the venue, eager for the fresh, seasonal Italian dishes.
Orso launched late last year, and has been awarded a similar response. Elegant, warm, and inviting, Orso serves brunch, lunch and dinner. It also has an adjoining delicatessen, Willmott’s Gastronomia.
The unique Villetta Porcini marks Ursini’s third Adelaide culinary venture.
