Burger lovers from the North, this one’s for you.
Burgertec is set to open its doors at a brand new location in Munno Para, making this their 7th SA store and finally bringing their delicious burgers to the north.
Monday the 17th of April will be the grand opening of this new venue, while Munno Para isn’t the first place in SA to home Burgertec, and this new store is set to be one-of-a-kind.
Unlike the other Burgertecs scattered around SA, owners Stephen Tzanakis and Raja Johal have taken a unique spin on this store.
“This new Burgertec is exciting in many ways, we’re not only expanding our presence to the north but we’re also opening our largest store yet with new dining-in options and an exciting new collaboration,” Stephen said.
Yes, you heard that right. Burgertec is teaming up with another well-loved SA business, Doughnut World, to bring customers a unique in-store experience where they can purchase both delicious burgers and fresh handmade doughnuts in one location.
“We’re so excited to expand Burgertec to the North, there has been a huge call for more businesses that cater to a younger demographic and that isn’t fast food,” Stephen said.
“While we are well known for our takeaway and Uber eats options, we’ve created a unique space in Munno Parra where customers can either get takeaway or sit down and enjoy their food in a comfortable and simple environment.”
It is safe to say that Burgertec is a fan favourite here in SA, this extraordinary venue has been dishing up heart attacks in a bun for years now, they are practically experts at it.
Burgertec features a “Biggies” menu, with ginormous burgers such as the Erry’Thang pilled high with Southern fried chicken, ground beef, double cheese, lettuce, bacon, egg, and more. The new venue will also be dishing up a variety of daily specials, such as $6 Cheeseburger Tuesdays, $7 Sando Thursdays, and $15 lunch specials.
The first 300 customers to purchase an item from Burgertec’s extensive menu will receive a free doughnut from Doughnut World.
