Spring racing is in full swing at Morphettville Racecourse, and this year it’s getting the ultimate Italian makeover with their latest addition – Club Lago. This is Morphettville’s brand new trackside day club, and it’s set to transform Morphettville into Adelaide’s most stylish social experience.
Inspired by the timeless luxury of Lake Como, Club Lago is delivering the ultimate Italian style right to the heart of Morphettville. With the sun shining, DJs spinning laid-back tunes, and a crisp spritz in hand, Club Lago is bringing the party trackside.
Located trackside, Club Lago has been carefully designed to feel just as glam as Northern Italy, combining Morphettville’s sporting spectacle with the kind of social setting you’d expect in a Mediterranean summer.
Guests can expect a curated design of coastal colours and elegant textures that take cues from Europe’s most iconic lakeside escapes. There will be lounge seating that invites you to settle in for the day, plus premium bars, gourmet food offerings, and live entertainment.
“Club Lago is about creating a space that feels fresh, stylish, and fun,” Morphettville CEO Grant Mayer said.
“We wanted to bring guests of Morphettville a completely new and exciting experience, and we think we’ve done that.”
There are a handful of ways to experience Club Lago, ensuring your experience is perfectly suited to you. Every race day except the Adelaide Cup and Melbourne Cup, general admission into the day club is completely free.
If you’re looking to elevate your Club Lago experience, there are VIP Lounges and VIP Cabanas available. Club Lago VIP Lounges, which are $500 and fit up to nine people, while Club Lago VIP Cabanas are available for $300, which fit six people. Prices are redeemable for food and beverage throughout the day, giving you the perfect spot to soak up all the vibes.
The VIP Lounges are located at the back and the Cabanas at the front of Club Lago and include Morphettville entry every race day, excluding Adelaide Cup Day and Melbourne Cup Day when Club Lago will be a ticketed event.
The launch is perfectly timed to kick off alongside one of spring racing’s biggest dates, making its debut on Caulfield Cup Day on, Saturday, October 18. Club Lago will become a permanent fixture at Morphettville every Saturday through to April 2026. This means a whole season of European-inspired day sessions, bringing plenty of opportunities to party trackside.
Club Lago is also available for private functions and hospitality events outside of race days and is the perfect venue for upcoming End of Year or Christmas celebrations.
Morphettville has long been one of South Australia’s most exciting destinations for racing and events, and now with Club Lago, it’s stepping up into a whole new era of entertainment.
