San Churro is adding another sweet spot to Adelaide’s chocolate scene with a brand-new store set to open on The Parade in Norwood.
Taking up residence at G-02/120 The Parade, Norwood, SA 5067, the popular Spanish-inspired dessert café is expected to start welcoming chocoholics and casual coffee catch-ups in early March, with exact opening dates and trading hours still being finalised.

If you haven’t had churros before, you’re in for a treat. They’re long, ridged strips of fried dough (like a long, straight, crispy doughnut), typically rolled in cinnamon sugar and served warm, often with a rich chocolate dipping sauce.
Fans of the Melbourne-born brand can look forward to the same indulgent crowd favourites that have made San Churro a go-to for dessert lovers. Think rich hot chocolates, including dark, white or milk options alongside piles of churros served with dark chocolate or salted caramel dipping sauces.
Existing San Churro locations also serve up sundaes, gelatos, Belgian waffles and a curated selection of cakes and slices through the day. We’re told we can expect many of the same menu items.

While the team behind the new Norwood store is keeping the grand opening details close to the chest for now, word on the street is a celebration event is in the works that will give you a chance to be among the first through the doors of the new location.
Across Adelaide, San Churro already has a strong presence, with stores on Rundle Street in the CBD, at Westfield Marion, and at Westfield West Lakes, plus the incoming Norwood location.
Stay tuned for confirmed opening dates and official hours as they’re announced, but if you’re already craving churros and hot chocolate on The Parade, it won’t be long now.
