The team behind the popular summer bar SandBAR is gearing up to launch LandBar, a year-round destination for delicious drinks and good vibes at Christies Beach.
Located at 15 Beach Road, the extension of SandBAR will provide a permanent spot operating throughout the year, that will cater to both locals and tourists seeking a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The SandBAR has been a popular summer destination for four consecutive years, located at the corner of Beach Road and Esplanade, Owned and operated by husband and wife duo Tim and Jessica Stewart, and brothers Dylan and Daniel Ellis, the SandBAR is known for bringing local craft beer, wine, spirits and live entertainment to the beautiful Christies Beach.
“We’ve done four summers now,” says Owner Tim Stewart.
Expected to open following its liquor licensing determination on July 16th, the Landbar will offer more than just a typical bar experience. The team envisions it as a tap house and cellar, showcasing a selection of local beers, wines, and spirits. Stewart says that they’re going to choose “the ones that we like the most.”
Besides its beverage offerings, the Landbar will also act as a resource hub, offering suggestions on must-try local drinks and recommending visits to nearby wineries. Visitors to SandBAR can plan winery tours with guidance from team at the Landbar, ensuring a memorable experience exploring the finest drinks and destinations the region has to offer.
With its prime location near Christies Beach, the Landbar is set to extend the appeal of the popular summer bar SandBAR, offering delicious drinks and good vibes year-round. Keep your eyes peeled for the opening!
