South Aussie With Coffee, a new family-run mobile coffee and food trailer, is set to open next week on Wednesday January 15th in Lonsdale. Specialising in delicious food and drinks, this new venture is available for hire for events and gatherings on the weekends, and will be a staple at Total Tools Lonsdale Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 2pm.
Behind the business are husband and wife duo Chelsea and Kyle, a passionate pair keen to make their mark. Kyle, the brains behind the name ‘South Aussie With Coffee’, assures that while the name might remind some of the popular SA TV show South Aussie with Cosi, their trailer is entirely separate.
“We actually reached out to Andrew Costello and got his blessing in an email before we named it that,” Chelsea says.
Starting out small with the goal of growing the business, the couple dreams of expanding their mobile fleet, eventually running larger trailers for bigger events. With their four kids, they’re keen to have the whole family involved in the business as they continue to grow.
Expect to find a wide range of food and drinks, including freshly brewed coffee, frappes, milkshakes, and Vili’s pies and pasties. South Aussie With Coffee is also diving into the trending world of matcha. Chelsea, a self-proclaimed “matcha snob,” has been perfecting her skills to create the best beverages for customers. They’ll also have delicious loaded cookies, soft drinks, and water to keep you refreshed.
In the near future, the trailer will be getting a stunning paint job by a local artist, making it even more of an eye-catching addition to any event or gathering. With South Aussie With Coffee launching next week, be sure to keep an eye out for it at Total Tools and on the move around town!
