Adelaide fans of social media influencer Brittney Saunders and her viral fashion brand, Fayt the Label, are celebrating the announcement of a new store coming in just a matter of weeks.

The Newcastle-based entrepreneur started the brand at just 21 and, over almost a decade, has built an enormous following around its inclusive approach to fashion.

The Adelaide store will be FAYT’s sixth physical location, joining boutiques in Hawthorn in Victoria, Chermside in Queensland and several locations across New South Wales.

It’s all coming very quick with Fayt Adelaide set to open next month, however the catch is that it won’t be around forever.

The social media influencer, who recently visited Adelaide to plan the rapid opening, said the pop-up would be unlike anything the brand had done before.

“It’s going to be a completely different experience to what we’re used to and what our customers are used to,” Brittney told her followers.

The limited-time pop-up will remain open for three months. Although Brittney has not revealed its exact location, speculation has centred on Rundle Street after the influencer recently posted from the popular shopping strip.

“The store is already beautiful, we’re just moving straight on it and we just need to bring our stock with us and our team.”

For Adelaide fashionistas, this is not only a chance to shop at the brand but also work there, with job ads already up for the inaugural Adelaide opening.

“Usually we have 12 months to plan this sh*t out and we’re giving ourselves weeks.”

Originally running the business out of her own garage, Brittney transformed the label into national success since its launch in 2017. Known for its size inclusivity, Fayt’s sizing ranges from six to 24, bridging the gap in the fashion industry.

Brittney now has almost 600,000 Instagram followers, having first built her social media presence by posting makeup tutorials on YouTube.

The pop-up marks FAYT’s return to its Adelaide expansion plans after an attempted store opening in 2024 fell through.
