Winter has well and truly arrived in Adelaide and it has hit HARD. With the wild winds and heavy rains, it’s pretty easy to want to just snuggle up on the couch and hibernate for the next 3 months.
But that’s not really much fun so here’s a better idea. Why not snuggle up inside one of the cosy igloos that have been installed at The Gully Public House and Garden?
For the first time, two winter-inspired clear igloos will be installed on the deck of The Gully offering a warm, safe haven where you can spend an afternoon or evening being out and about without being exposed to the woolly Winter elements.
Entering each igloo is like walking into a true winter wonderland. A roaring fireplace creates a warm, ambient setting as you take a seat on the cosy couches surrounded by fluffy rugs. Two different options are available for you upon booking depending on the experience you’d like to have, with a choice of relaxed lounge seating or round table dining.
With full table service, there is no need to leave the comfort of your igloo for your entire 2.5hour booking. You can even take away the stress of selecting a meal and instead let The Gully do the hard work for you with either a 3-course set menu or 5 course shared menu. Of course, a la carte dining is also available with The Gully’s full beer garden menu also available.
Fit for up to 8 people, choose to fill it up with you and seven of your closest or take the space for just you a lover for a romantic date experience.
Open from June 10th – October 4th, bookings are now open to secure your spot. With just the two igloos, dates are sure to get snapped up fast! (Keep in mind, both igloos are identical.)
