If you’ve ever tried to buy a property and found yourself overwhelmed, second-guessing every decision, or wondering if you’ve just paid too much, you’re not alone. Adelaide’s 28th Street Agency has created a coaching program that could change that feeling for good.
28th Street Agency founder Kerryn Brownson says the program helps buyers navigate the property market with confidence and strategy.
The program is led by Property Strategist Mary Palaric, who has recently joined the team. She designed and delivers the hands-on, ninety-day experience in collaboration with Kerryn and the 28th Street crew.
While Mary leads the program, Kerryn personally oversees client negotiations and deal strategy, ensuring participants benefit from her expertise in securing properties at the right price.
Kerryn says it usually takes most people nine months to find and buy a property.
“With this program we help people do it in three or fewer,” she says. “We keep buyers accountable, focused, and clear on what they actually want.”
From its new Norwood headquarters, 28th Street Agency has launched the Property Navigator Program, a hands-on, ninety-day experience that teaches people how to buy property the right way.
It’s not a course or a seminar. It’s more like having a buyer’s agent and a trusted advisor r in your corner, someone who keeps you calm, helps you see what’s worth chasing and what’s not, and makes sure you don’t overpay.
Kerryn says the program is designed for anyone ready to buy but unsure where to start. It’s for people who want to make smart decisions without paying full-service buyer’s agent fees. Kerryn says, “Most buyers have no idea how to research properly or negotiate. They fall in love with a property, bid too high, and later realise it wasn’t even a good buy. This program gives them the confidence and know-how to do it right.”
The program costs $6,990 (ex GST) and runs for three months. During that time, Kerryn and her team work alongside clients as they search, shortlist, and secure a property. The agency also gives back through its EmpowerHER initiative, which supports women into home ownership.
The team helps with everything from choosing suburbs, to accessing off-market opportunities and managing negotiations.
To celebrate the launch, 28th Street is giving one motivated buyer a fully funded place in the program. It’s open to anyone in Australia who’s ready to buy within three months and has either pre-approval or strong savings. Applicants simply need to explain how the program could change their property journey.
“It’s ideal for first-home buyers who can’t afford a buyer’s agent, but it’s also great for investors who want to learn how to do this properly,” Kerryn says. “By the end, all participants will know how to research, negotiate, and buy confidently for life.”
Joining the 28th Street team is Property Strategist Mary Palaric, who brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to the program. She helps clients decode the data and understand the story behind every deal. Together, she and Kerryn guide each participant step by step until they have keys in hand.
Set to open soon, the new Norwood office will become a hub for workshops and events aimed at making property buying less mysterious and more achievable. Kerryn says the goal is simple — to give people the skills and support they need to buy well.
“Buying a home is one of the biggest financial moves you’ll ever make,” Kerryn says. “It’s important that people are educated and supported through it.”
