Get ready to be entertained by an atmospheric night planned for the Ed Castle Hotel as part of the 2010 Coopers Alive Music Festival!
Steering By Stars, Hawks of Alba and Box Elder will play a one-off show for the 2010 Coopers Alive Festival on the 15th October at the Ed Castle. Music SA selected each band and together they have been collaborating to incorporate a strong visual theme to tie together their different musical styles. While the bands are keeping the theme a secret, we can assure you the Ed Castle band room has never looked like this before!
Steering By Stars use a range of instruments to create an atmospheric live show. They released their debut Vinyl Cables earlier this year. Check them out at www.steeringbystars.com.
Hawks of Alba are a three-piece pop band with sweet harmonies and dirty tones. They were Triple J Unearthed winners in 2010 and played at this year’s Big Day Out. Check them out at www.myspace.com/hawksofalba.
Box Elder blend elements of noise and pop. They released a debut EP Rewind the Fall this year and are currently recording tracks for a future release. Check them out at www.boxeldertheband.blogspot.com.
Free downloads of each band are available from www.coopersalive2010-edcastle.bandcamp.com
