Coriole’s stunning seasonal garden bar has re-opened

The adored and celebrated Coriole Vineyards is re-opening Arbour Bar! Get set for stunning views with exquisite foods, enjoyed within intimate spaces.

Timed perfectly for the warmer months ahead, the established and beloved Coriole Estate has reopened its Arbour Bar. Nestled right by the Coriole cellar door and award-winning restaurant, the outdoor space welcomes stunning views of the McLaren Vale vineyards and offers the ideal rustic, countryside experience to enjoy a classic Coriole drop.

The farmsteads date back as far as 1860 and now houses the various venues of Coriole Vineyards. On the edge of the garden, shaded by tall green shrubs, is the relaxed and intimate area of the winery. Surrounded by vines and wide-open spaces, the Arbour Bar is a welcoming location to enjoy a drink (or two) and a snacking menu, directly from the restaurant kitchen.

The food is of the highest standard with a try-everything menu. Former Head Chef Tom Tilbury established a commitment to sourcing local and ethically harvestable produce for over four years. The sustainable approach awarded him with great reviews and a promise for exquisite wines and dining.

Now, new Head Chef Patty Streckfuss is continuing this long history of organically grown and resourceful food. Coriole’s kitchen is definitely in good hands, considering Patty’s international and local experience at Africola, Restaurant Orana and Andre’s Cucina, in addition to her having grown up to the McLaren Vale region.

At the Arbour Bar, guests will be able to dive into a variety of appetisers and tasting boards, dotted with spice roasted almonds, home-grown marinated olives, whipped cheeses and herb salted focaccia. Drinks will of course be flowing once more, consisting of Coriole’s signature Pinot Gris, Rosé, Chenin Blanc, Prosecco and Estate Shiraz. Cider, beer, spritz and gin options are also on offer to accompany the superb bites at Coriole.

The Arbour Bar is truly set to be a stunning location for couples, families and groups to sample all that Coriole has to offer, with incomparable views and a company reputation to match.

Opening exclusively on weekends and public holidays, Coriole’s Arbour Bar is a hideaway worth searching for. If you’re a larger group (more than 10) it’s better to book in advance, otherwise feel free to walk in.

Coriole Vineyards is located at Chaffeys Road, McLaren Vale.
