COVID-19 update: Glenelg East F45 identified as exposure site

F45 Training in Glenelg East is the lastest COVID-19 exposure site announced by SA Health.

SA Health has identified a new COVID-19 exposure location in South Australia associated with a positive case of COVID-19.

F45 Training in Glenelg East is the latest site to make the list, with class participants, and those who attended the gym on the following dates required to follow the relevant health advice.

CLOSE CONTACT EXPOSURE LOCATION Glenelg East – F45 (Class participants)

  • Tuesday 7 December – 8.40am to 9.40am
  • Wednesday 8 December – 7.30am to 8.20am
  • Thursday 9 December – 9.45am to 10.45am

Unvaccinated contacts – If you are unvaccinated and were at the above Close contact exposure location at the specified dates and times, you must:

  • immediately quarantine for 14 days since you were at the location
  • get tested immediately
  • get tested again on day 6 and day 13
  • complete this form to notify SA Health you were at this location

Vaccinated contacts – If you are vaccinated and were at the above Close contact exposure location at the specified dates and times, you must:

  • immediately quarantine for 7 days since you were at the location
  • get tested immediately
  • get tested again on day 6 and day 13
  • not attend high risk settings or COVID Management Plan events for 14 days after exposure
  • wear a surgical mask when around others
  • avoid contact with vulnerable people, avoid non-essential activities where possible and avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing on days 8 to 14 after exposure.
  • complete this form to notify SA Health you were at this location

CASUAL CONTACT EXPOSURE LOCATION Glenelg East – F45 (Patrons not in class)

  • Tuesday 7 December – 9.25am to 9.40am
  • Wednesday 8 December – 8.05am to 8.20am
  • Thursday 9 December – 10.30am to 10.45am

If you were at the above Casual contact exposure location at the specified dates and times, you must:

  • get tested immediately and quarantine until you receive a negative result
  • get tested again on day 6 and day 13
  • wear a surgical mask when around others at all times
  • avoid contact with vulnerable people (elderly, pregnant, young children), avoid non-essential activities where possible, avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing.

If you were at the above location, but not at the specified dates and times, monitor yourself for symptoms and get tested as soon as symptoms develop.

You may not always receive a call, SMS or email from SA Health. You must follow the relevant health advice even if you have not been contacted.

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, please seek testing as soon as possible.
