A mystery patient is among four new cases of COVID-19 reported today. There have been 957 cases reported in South Australia to date.

Today’s cases include three men between the ages of 20 and 70 years old and one woman in her 30s.

One mystery case has been classified as unlinked due to a yet unknown source of infection. This case spent time in the Port Noarlunga region.

People in the Onkaparinga LGA, including Port Noarlunga and Reynella, who have any symptoms of COVID-19, are strongly encouraged to seek testing with any symptoms whatsoever, and isolate until they receive a negative test result.

Two cases are interstate travellers and one case, who attended the event linked to the Norwood cluster, is under investigation to determine if they caught their infection interstate or in South Australia.

SA Health is working to increase capacity in testing sites in this area. Anyone from this area who is eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19 should roll-up and get vaccinated to protect themselves and the community.

For more information and a list of testing sites visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDcontacttracing.

All South Australians who have symptoms of COVID-19 should get tested on the day symptoms appear.
