Rundle Street bars NOLA and The Stag are co-hosting the Festival of Darkness, a street party dedicated to local dark brews. The party was initially set to take place in August, but it has now been rescheduled due to COVID restrictions.

Alongside more than a dozen South Australian craft breweries, the two pubs are taking over the block for the party, which will take place on Saturday, October 16 from 1:00pm – 6:00pm. Dubbed the “Dark Beer Festival,” the ticketed event will showcase 16 taps of stouts, porters, and barrel-aged drinks from all over the globe to warm your cold night.

And perhaps the best part? The tastings will be complimentary!

Located in NOLA’s outdoor laneway and The Stag Public House’s upstairs area, numerous breweries will be serving up complimentary tastings of their dark ales in a  Festival of Darkness tasting glass.

There will be live music from local musicians all day, and the party will continue with live music at The Stag’s “after party.”

The participating breweries are as follows:
Little Bang Brewing Company
Bridge Road Brewers
Moondog Brewery
Uraidla Brewery
Shapeshifter Brewing Company
Hawkers Brewery
Big Shed Brewing
The Suburban Brew
Mismatch Brewing Co.
Swell Brewery
Bowden Brewing
Coopers Brewery

Tickets are $45 – $160.
