Craftapalooza Etsy Markets At Flinders Street This Weekend

Markets are a stable of Adelaide now, like our big shiny balls, the $6 plate, ice coffee and ice coffee regret after you’ve just downed two litres in one sitting because you just love your milk that much.

So when we see a good market, we want you to know about it, and this weekend, on July 23rd and 24th it looks like the Flinders Street Markets will be bringing the goods. Literally.

Craftapalooza shines the light upon the dynamic and creative team at Esty South Australia. Last year’s version was an enormous success, and returns to honour and celebrate our local craftisans (it’s a word, kind of) as well as share craft skills with the community. Entry is free and visitors are encouraged to participate while they’re there by making something funny, friendly, cute, cheeky, crazy, curious or happy. Or all three of those things. Hell, just bring your puppy.

There will be a host of workshops over the weekend taught by local artists and crafters across paper, ink, cloth, stitch, clay, weaving, leather, printing, glass, mosaic, which should make for a nice addition to your hipster resume.

And for those who follow Esty like the artisan-cult-that-drains-your-bank-account-after-a-few-wines that it is, you’ll be pleased to know that the following stalls have all confirmed they’ll be in attendance:

Little Green Crafts
Ark Angel Creations
Minnie Crochet Boutique
Made With Love
Satin & Tat
Wrappa Bees
Babycakes
Wonder What You Were

Craftapalooza will take place on July 23 and 24 from 10am – 3pm at 230 Flinders Street. Entry is free. Follow the event online now via Facebook.
