Hahndorf’s ‘Handmade. Handcrafted. Handpicked.’ Festival is in full swing once again, presenting a bunch of exciting events and experiences worth checking out.
After a sold-out 2021 season, Spanish restaurant Comida is hosting paella masterclasses to help cooking enthusiasts achieve the perfect socarrat.
Perfect the paella and cook up some tasty tapas favourites by learning from some of the best.
Established in 2014, Comida was first a catering company ran by husband and wife team, Brad & Fiona. The duo soon opened their Comida Tapas Bar in the Adelaide Central Market, as catering hundreds of weddings, events, and festivals.
Five year later, Adelaide Hills locals Brad & Fiona transformed Comida into what it is today – a Hahndorf restaurant, complete with a woodfired oven and outdoor bar.
Participants of the Comida paella masterclasses will be greeted with a glass of sangria or sparkling on arrival. The duo will then go through all the elements of the dish, as well as share some their hidden secrets on how to make it at home.
Don’t forget to bring your appetite, because you’ll be able to nipple on some classic tapas as you cook.
The intimate classes will be limited to 12 guests, so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
Hahndorf. Handmade. Handcrafted. Handpicked is filled with bespoke experiences for all ages and tastes, where you can find great events under the following categories: food & drink, art & craft, family fun, fashion & beauty, history & storytelling, workshops & masterclasses.
Other activities include creating your own personalised collar for your furry friends, a German beer masterclass, an electric bike wine and produce tour, cocktail masterclasses, truffle chocolate making, cheesemaking and so much more.
