Crepe Bar is bringing their European goodness to North Adelaide, and opening the doors of their new venue this Sunday.
Owner Yianni has been serving sweet and savoury crepes for over five years now in his beloved food truck, but due to the pandemic and lack of events being held, Yianni decided it was time to expand into the form of his new store.
“We have been operating as a food truck for the last five years, and so many people have asked about the potential opening of a store, so with Covid impacting the business and no events on we thought, why not give it a go now”, said Yianni’s wife Toula.
Located in North Adelaide on O’Connell Street, Crepe Bar will serve European street-style crepes. Guests will walk in store and order their crepes, which they will serve up for you to enjoy dish free in your hands, in the authentic European street style way.
The new store is set to have a fresh, minimal vibe with a glass frontage, and charcoal monochromatic coloured interior, along with a cement rendered wall inside of the store.
The menu boards have just been finalised and have an emphasis on Crepe Bar’s savoury offerings.
“We will have the popular sweet crepes of course but we really wanted to focus on our savoury crepes, offering them as something people would have for lunch or dinner”, says Toula.
Toula also hinted that guests can expect waffle bites, sweet fillings, and plenty of coffee, with all menu items wrapped in sustainable, biodegradable paper and made from locally sourced ingredients.
Crepe Bar is set to be the perfect addition to North Adelaide’s buzzing eatery scene and will be serving all your crepe needs until 10pm every day.
Head to Crepe Bar on O’Connell Street this Sunday for the store grand opening from 9am-10pm.
Crepe Bar will be open from 7:30am-10pm Monday-Friday, and 9am-10pm Saturday-Sunday.
