Crudo To Open Fresh, Healthy New Flagship Store

South Road is set to welcome a new player in heath food, and it’s likely we’ll see it appearing in Foodland’s and IGA soon too.

There is no excuse not to be healthy this summer, with cutting edge health food store, Crudo, opening its first
flagship store in Adelaide today; Friday, 18th November.

Crudo has taken the hard work out of food preparation, offering a range of pre cut fruit, and vegetables, ready
to go meals, salads, smoothies and an abundance of healthy snacks.

Managing Director Dean Agostino said with a growing time poor population and a renewed want for healthy
food, he spotted a hole in the market for ready to go meals.

“I saw a real need for healthy, convenient fresh food in the ready to go section of many supermarkets.
“There are many people that want to be healthy but lack the time to plan effectively to make this happen,” says
Mr. Agostino.

The new store will boast a ‘Make Your Own’ salad bar with a selection of gourmet salads and frittatas available,
as well as a ‘Grab and Go’ selection of salads from its much loved existing range.
Those with a sweet tooth won’t miss out, with a healthy range of raw cakes, smoothies and of course coffee on
the menu.

“We pride ourselves on providing fresh, locally grown produce which we source from the Pooraka markets. We
love to support out SA farmers as much as possible,” says Mr. Agostino.

Crudo, meaning ‘raw’ in Italian, was established in 2015 and began rolling out its healthy ‘ready to go’ foods in
Foodland and IGA stores across the state.

For those on the go who don’t have time to make it to the shops, Crudo has also developed an online store
which lets customer pick exactly what day and time they want their food delivered.

“We’re excited to launch something a little bit different in Adelaide. To celebrate we’re offering ‘free coffee
Fridays’ until the end of the year,” says Mr. Agostino.

Crudo, located at 336a South Road will open between 7am-4pm from Monday through to Saturday.
