Cry Baby and Pirate Life team up to create the dive bar’s new Tallboy beer

In collaboration with Pirate Life Brewing & Ben Neale Design, The Cry Baby Dive Beer lager Tallboy has been born.

Our favourite dive bar, Cry Baby has teamed with Pirate Life Brewing to create their very own Tallboy beer.

Crafted with Pilsner and Vienna malt and Spalt and Perle hops, the new creation is an easy-drinking lager.

This 500mL Tallboy can of lager was made to replace the Pabst Blue Ribbon Tallboy.

When the beloved Pabst Blue Ribbon Tallboy downsized to a 300mL can, Cry Baby desperately tried to find a replacement.

Months of searching went by with no success, so they decided to create their own beer.

After a copious amount of research and trials with local breweries, Cry Baby researched out to South Australian brewing company Pirate Life and fell in love.

In collaboration with Pirate Life Brewing & Ben Neale Design, The Cry Baby Dive Beer lager Tallboy was born.

The cans will be available to purchase at Cry Baby over the bar from Friday 31 July.

Keep your eyes peeled over the next few months as the Tallboy starts to hit up your local bottle shops.

Until then, if you want to enjoy Cry Baby’s Dive Beer at home, you can purchase takeaway cases from their bar on 11 Solomon Street.
