Returning for an anticipated sixth year, Dougstock Festival is gearing up to take over the Willunga Hills this December, bringing two massive days of live music to South Australia.
Set on a gorgeous private property that opens to the public just once a year, the festival has become a cult favourite for those who like their music authentic, their weekends immersive, and their festival vibes a touch more free-range.
This year has a lineup that’s bigger and bolder than ever. There are more than 20 live acts set to perform across two stages and a program that spans genres. Included are ARIA winners and international guests, boundary-pushing jazz, neo-psych, soul, folk and fresh-faced acts on the rise. Dougstock’s curators have built a lineup that feels both eclectic and cohesive, with four of this year’s performers finalists in the 2025 SA Music Awards, adding an extra layer of excitement for anyone keen to catch them before they blow up even further.

On Friday, December 5th, the Main Stage kicks off the weekend with Terry’s Pocket, Ripcord, Moose Juuce and jazz dynamo Alexander Flood, who’s up for Best Jazz at the SA Music Awards. As the sun sets over the hills, DJs Es’Ay and TR!P take things into the night. Saturday, December 6th keeps the momentum going with Kelly’s Wayke, CFS, James Muller’s Organ Thieves and Ms Chipeta leading the charge, alongside Custard Pie, The Publishers, Sons of Zoku and another late-night hit of DJ magic from Es’Ay and TR!P.
Adding to the fun, The Dragonfly Lounge returns as Dougstock’s chill-out sanctuary. Curated by Tric Tuckfield of Dragonfly Dreaming, the double-tipi oasis is a world of its own, fitted out with vintage lounge pods and intimate live performances that feel more like shared moments than sets. This year’s Dragonfly Stage lineup runs from Tribal Sound Journey, Saxicola and an Open Mic session on Friday, to Saturday’s yoga, Jess Lee O’Neill, Michelle Shanti, Joe & The Mad Cuppas, MJ Turner Trio, Laura Hill, Circo Liquido and The Jeffries. It’s the softer, slower side of the weekend.

Part of Dougstock’s charm is just how much there is to do between sets. With 30-plus market stalls, roving performers, a family-friendly Lil Duggies Zone, and some of the best food and drinks the region has to offer, the festival is crafted for all ages and stages. Add in on-site camping and you’ve got yourself a full escape.
If you’re returning, you’ll know Dougstock is the unofficial summer starter, and for first-timers, it’s the kind of festival that quickly becomes an annual non-negotiable. Tickets are on sale now, but you’ll want ot secure your spot early!
