Adelaide’s beloved Frankly Bagels, a cult favorite that has been delighting Prospect for nearly four years, has now opened its doors to a second location at the Norwood Green complex on Magill Road.
Owners Jack Crichton and Christie Wilkinson are thrilled to expand their bagel empire, bringing their unique flavors to more of Adelaide.

“Our Prospect store is maxing out on what we can put through it. It’s a great problem to have, and it’s just been amazing to see how popular it has been. But we’ve been looking for that next spot for a while,” Christie said.
The 140sqm space in Norwood Green was the perfect opportunity for expansion.
“It’s a great spot, on the eastern side of Norwood Green. We always wanted to branch out in inner urban locations, and so Norwood just seemed like the perfect fit. It’s got a great residential population, and a great business population,” Christie added.

“We’re really excited to introduce a working bagel bakery in this new spot, given the size. We currently buy our bagels in so this will mark a really exciting new chapter for us,” Jack explained.
The new store features a working bagel bakery, a first for Frankly Bagels. While initially focusing on stocking both locations with their delicious, house-made bagels, customers will soon be able to purchase them plain as well.

Menu favorites from the Prospect store, like the pastrami and swiss cheese bagels or the smoked salmon with dill caper cream cheese, will be available at the Norwood location, along with some new and funky menu items. St Ali coffee will continue to be the perfect complement to their bagels.
The Norwood store offers quick eats with 20 internal seats and alfresco outdoor dining. The interior, designed by CTRL Space, features a minimalist, industrial vibe with concrete finishes and timber products.

“The bakery will be interactive, with viewing windows, so you’ll be able to get a real insight into the bagel baking process,” Christie revealed.
Frankly Bagels is now open at 88 Magill Road. It will reopen on the 4th January.
