Cult Goodwood Road favourite Gingers to open nights

Much loved Goodwood Road restaurant Gingers will introduce its night time service at Sat’dy NIGHT on Goody event THIS Saturday.

There’s a whole lot of reasons to head to Goody Road this Saturday night.

Much loved Goodwood Road restaurant Gingers will introduce its night time service AND pizza, and many other Goodwood Road favourites are joining in the road’s Sat’dy NIGHT on Goody event.

“We want to shine a light on our night time people” said Shan Chamings, Chairman of the Goodwood Road Business Association.

“Like all hospitality people they’ve had a difficult time of late, and while number restrictions still do apply, we want to book them out this Saturday night.”

Kicking off the night, Ghanaian singer-songwriter Mandi Lopa will be performing in the courtyard in front of the Primary School, where you can enjoy paella from Candela’s Pop Up, and some tasty tidbits from some Goody Road favourites to whet your appetite before heading off to your choice of restaurant, enjoying the live music as you go. Look out for Piano Man Peter Hacquoil and his mobile piano.

To celebrate the launch of their outdoor dining, relative new comer to the road Foodwood will have dumpling tastings at the front of their restaurant, and Suci Plants and Living will be open 4-6pm to launch their new, bigger location and fabulous new  range of furniture and homewares.

At many restaurants, you’ll score a complimentary glass of wine with your main course.

Before or after your meal, The Capri is offering two tickets for $20, and yes The Fringe IS  happening on Goodwood Road – Hot Sauce Burlesque will be vamping it up at the Goodwood Theatre, 8pm.

Sat’dy NIGHT on Goody will take place on Saturday 13 March, for more info click here.
