Monday 14 February, 20 different Chinese organisations will be involved in presenting a special global event, “Cultures of China, Festival of Spring,” at the Adelaide Festival Centre for one show only.
The Chinese Spring Festival Celebration Performances have been successfully held in 10 major countries of Chinese emigrants during the traditional Chinese lunar New Year month.
Five Chinese art troupes and two international performing groups who have performed extensively throughout the world including North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania will be held in Adelaide to present highly acclaimed performances including folk songs, folk dances, symphony concerts and to send Chinese New Year wishes to the Chinese communities in South Australia.
Organised and supported by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office (OCAO) of the State Council of PR of China, and the China Overseas Exchanges Association (COEA). This event is also proudly supported by many SA Chinese associations, community groups and Chinese Media groups.
