To celebrate the launch of two new limited release James Squire brews, Adelaide’s own James Squire restaurant and bar, The Curious Squire, plays host to brewmaster Dr Chuck Hahn and his team of beer experts.

Director of James Squire’s Malt Shovel Brewery, Dr Hahn, will launch the limited release ‘Red Handed Red Ale’ and ‘2050 Black Lager’ on Wednesday 3rd June.

Dr Hahn is Australia’s highest profile brewer and has been a force in Australian, New Zealand and American brewing for over 30 years having established the Hahn Brewery in 1988, then Australia’s largest microbrewery, where Malt Shovel now operates out of.

Owner of The Curious Squire, Antony Tropeano, explains that it is a privilege to host the renowned brewer. “Dr Hahn is a legend of the brewing industry and the reason behind the success of the Squire’s brand. We are excited to give our beer enthusiasts an opportunity to meet the man behind the brews that they have come to love.”

For $20 per person, The Curious Squire invites guests to attend the ‘Meet The Brewer’ event, which includes a pint of both limited release James Squire beers paired with their signature Southern American style smoked meats.

Located on O’Connell Street in the trendy North Adelaide precinct, The Curious Squire has limited dinner reservations available. To attend, contact Beer Captain Josh at [email protected]
