Dance and dine at Anderson Hill for their Spring party this weekend

Amongst the blooming vines with panoramic views, Lenswood winery Anderson Hill has a groovy spring party in store for this Saturday.

Anderson Hill is celebrating the new season with ‘It’s a Spring Thing’ this Saturday, October 16.

Amongst the blooming vines with panoramic views, the Lenswood winery has a groovy party in store.

For $25 entry, guests will be able to try Anderson Hill’s newest release of wines and enjoy their delicious wood oven pizza, all while boogieing to some banging rock and roll.

There will be live music by McLaren Vale’s The Ambush who are an electrifying five piece original Rock-Blues-Soul Americana band. They play all things riffy, groovy, bluesy, soul and rock-n-roll.

Anderson Hill marketing manager, Seth Piszczuk, says the band will be playing throughout the whole event with multiple sets on the day.

“We had The Ambush play at our Winter Reds event and they are so much fun,” Seth says.

“They play a progressive escalation of sets with a mix of originals and covers.

The Ambush will start off with cruisy tunes getting more upbeat going into nighttime.”

As the event is private and ticketed, visitors will be able to dance along and finally pull out their favourite dance moves. There will be a dedicated dance floor which has a 50 person limit in accordance to the current COVID restrictions.

Guests will be able to have a taste of Anderson Hill’s newest release of rosé and pinot noir wine. It’s a Spring Thing will also be the launch of their new 2021 sauvignon blanc that guests will get to have the first sips of.

While grooving along and sipping the good stuff, guests will be served Anderson Hill’s in-house pizza – which the winery is historically known for.

There will be salami, tandoori chicken, margherita and fungi on the menu. With vegetarian and meat-based options and gluten free made available on request, there’s a pizza for everyone on the day.

Running from 4pm until 9pm, Seth says visitors will be able to watch the whole sunset while enjoying a relaxing afternoon spread across indoor and outdoor spaces.

“It’s very much a spring vibe here – the vines are bursting out of their buds and flowering right now,” Seth says.

“Our winery is virtually on top of the hill so the view on the day will be stunning, especially as the sun sets.

“At 600 metres above sea level and panoramic views, visitors can enjoy the gorgeous spot while soaking in the upbeat tunes, new booze and our famous pizza.”

Tickets for It’s a Spring Thing are $25 and can be purchased here.

Anderson Hill is located at 407 Croft Road, Lenswood.
