Since their conception, Georgina Dean, Rachel Mifsud and Amanda Hodgson have taken Adelaide by storm, performing at large charity organisation galas, showcases, private functions, wineries, markets and numerous other events.

Just after the Silhouettes got together, they placed second at the 2013 Royal Adelaide Show talent contest with their Latin Samba routine.

Since winning, the trio have invested in some distinct and eye-catching costumes, worked along side choreographers Carmello Pizzino and Aric Yegudkin from Dancing with the stars and So You Think You Can Dance, and have thrown themselves into tackling the Adelaide entertainment scene.

With over 20 years of individual dance experience, they combine Latin, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Brazilian Samba, Salsa, Regaetton and Cabaret all in one performance, which is a testament to their versatility and technique. Also known for their professionalism and charismatic stage presence, The Silhouettes promise to put on energetic and enthralling shows.

Next week, The Silhouettes will be dancing at Jake Walk at The Juice Joint – a 20s prohibition themed party at Entropy on September 6th. The party will be the debut event for Adelaide’s newest event planning business, Had To Be There.
