d’Arenberg Cube and d’Arry’s Verandah To Open 7 Days

For the first time in months, the d’Arenberg Cube and d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant will return to opening 7 days per week.

For the first time since the enforced closure brought about by the COVID-19 outbreak, the d’Arenberg Cube and d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant will return to opening 7 days per week, and WE’RE EXCITED. Partly because the iconic destination symbolises the peak of South Australian tourism – an industry we desperately want to return to its former glory, and partly because we personally love the eating and drinking at one of the State’s more exciting venues.

Following the stage 1 easing of restrictions placed on wineries and restaurants by the state government, d’Arenberg has been trading 4 days a week from Thursday to Sunday, but from Monday, that’s set to change.

From July 6th, d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant and all levels of the d’Arenberg Cube will be welcoming visitors every day of the week for the first time in three months. And if you were thinking about heading there this weekend, it’s also all open now!

Winemaker Chester Osborn said “The decision to return to 7-day trading has been difficult. With visitation down from what we would expect at this time of year, in purely financial terms it probably doesn’t make much sense” said Osborn. “But looking at the bigger picture, we recognise that the d’Arenberg Cube is a big attraction among the regions many great offerings and we want to do our bit to bring people back out to the regional communities”.

All five levels of the d’Arenberg Cube will be open for casual visitation for the first time since the venue’s launch in December 2017. With d’Arenberg Cube Restaurant (an unfortunate casualty of the pandemic) now closed, access to the third level of The Cube is open to all, now housing a more
relaxed offering, serving coffee, casual food and of course, d’Arenberg’s acclaimed wines. The level three offering is called Eat@Polly’s.

Eat@Polly’s requires no reservation and features casual food from d’Arry’s Verandah Head Chef Peter Reschke. You can see the menu at www.darenberg.com.au/pollys

On the new offering Osborn said “Level 3 is one of my favourite parts of The Cube, with some great art pieces and plenty of quirky features. Now you can explore the Alternate Realities Museum, 360-degree Experience, enjoy a wine tasting or blending bench experience on Level 4 and then relax over a bite to eat and some wine or a coffee and take in the views”.

COVID -19 restrictions remain in place at d’Arenberg in line with current advice from State Government. d’Arenberg is constantly monitoring advice from SA Health and Government to ensure the continuing safety of staff, guests and the broader community.
