The 2023 event boasted impressive statistics, with $64.9 million in direct expenditure, 43,253 visitor nights in Adelaide, and 77,076 attendees. It also had a considerable international reach, with 41% of ticket purchasers coming from out-of-state and attendees from 37 different countries. The global broadcast reached over 276 million households across 69 territories.

The inaugural event drew tens of thousands of attendees from interstate and overseas and saw tickets snapped up almost as quickly as they were released.
