Adelaide’s automotive scene is set to reach new heights of excitement as American custom car guru and renowned TV personality, Dave Kindig, prepares to make his first-ever visit to Australia.
Dave Kindig will be hosting the Kindig Custom Car Show presented by Shannons Insurance, exclusively at the highly anticipated 2023 VAILO Adelaide 500.
Joined by his co-star Kevin Schiele, Kindig will be flying to Adelaide to judge and host an impressive lineup of 20 elite-level custom-built show cars from Australia.
“We can’t wait to experience one of Australia’s best motorsport events, the VAILO Adelaide 500, in November. I know there is a rich automotive history in South Australia, so I look forward to sharing my passion for cars with the community of fans at the event,” Dave Kindig said.
“I am particularly excited to check out and judge some of the country’s best custom cars at the first-ever Kindig Custom Car Show presented by Shannons Insurance in Australia. This will be our first trip down under, and I have heard great things about Adelaide – the countdown is on, and I’m ALL IN.”
The Kindig Custom Car Show presented by Shannons Insurance will showcase some of the country’s finest automotive creations, while also featuring two of Kindig’s own legendary custom cars from the USA.
The star of the show will undoubtedly be the iconic 1957 Chevrolet Corvette ‘Family Affair,’ the very car that graces the opening credits of his hit TV show, Kindig Customs. As for the second Kindig-designed and built car, the details will be revealed closer to the event, leaving car enthusiasts eagerly waiting for the surprise.
Throughout the VAILO Adelaide 500 event, which runs from Friday to Sunday, fans will have the unique opportunity to interact with Dave Kindig and Kevin Schiele. Live Q&A events will provide attendees with insights into their custom car expertise, and special signing sessions will offer fans a chance to meet the stars up close and personal.
“There is an art to restoring cars, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the Aussies do it when we judge some of the best cars the country has to offer at the Kindig Custom Car Show,” Kevin Schiele said.
For car enthusiasts across Australia, the Kindig Custom Car Show presents a remarkable opportunity.
Participants can enter their cars to be featured and judged in one of three classes: Elite (Australia’s highest quality custom builds), Street Elite (very high-quality custom builds), and Show n’ Shine (showcasing various immaculate vehicles).
The event promises to be a highlight of the 2023 VAILO Adelaide 500, offering a one-of-a-kind experience that car enthusiasts won’t want to miss.
