The crew from At First Light have been hosting some pretty damn incredible morning raves in Adelaide so far this year. It’s a take on the New York City rooftop raves which founder Leah Kertesz used to attend while she was living in the city. Of course, all good things find their way back to Adelaide.
No booze, no drugs (well, fresh brewed coffee obviously), plenty of ghetto beats on behalf of Fresh FM icon DJ Ryley. It’s Simple really – Saturday morning, Sun, Sand, Sea, Yoga by Linda from Bikram Yoga Glenelg, live musicians, breakfast treats, giveaways and Pinky our Mascot Pink Flamingo!
Described as ‘a morning movement’, At First Light’s activities aim to motivate people to make small changes and promote health, vitality, positivity for the body, mind and soul. It ought to look pretty interesting to everyone walking their dog during the morning to see a whole load of down-ward dog on the sand…
The event will be on the sand on Glenelg Beach in front of the Beach House. In between the volleyball nets and Surf Life Saving Tower. You can always grab the tram from the city if you don’t want the morning drive. Bring your Yoga mat if you like, and be in workout wear or comfortable clothes. It is an all ages event, but obviously small children and babies need some special attention so make sure you drop a line to the organisers prior if you’ve got a bub to bring.
